ProDen PlaqueOff® Cat Powder is a patented natural dental product for cats, which can help reduce bad breath, plaque and tartar. A completely natural product, made from specially selected Norwegian Seaweed (D1070), Ascophyllum nodosum. Since cats are known for having a more discerning palate, it has been added to this product brewer’s yeast– an ingredient which most cats love.
Prior to the product launch, a palatability test was performed at Laboratories Le Centre de Sourches in France. The result: 100% acceptance.

Dental care is unfortunately one of the most overlooked health issues pet owners are concerned with.
As in humans, plaque bacteria constantly form in the mouth of all cats and dogs. It can accumulate on teeth, gums and the tongue, leading to bad breath, gum disease (bleeding), dental plaque and tartar.
Without action, this can lead to unbearable pain and, worst of all, premature tooth loss. Once plaque has calcified into tartar it can no longer be brushed off with a toothbrush. In many cases it has to be removed by a vet, using ultrasound and anaesthetic.
Ιf tartar build-up is left untreated it can result in bad breath, gum disease, tooth decay and premature tooth loss. Tartar that is allowed to remain for too long can also cause infections that can spread throughout the body and damage the heart, lung, liver and negatively affect kidney functions.
